Ireland day 4 afternoon

A stunning day here in West Cork, sunshine, white clouds and blue sky all day long. Promises of rain tomorrow but we'll see.
Glenbeg Lake is just a short distance away and so absolutely stunning. We parked and walked and sat for a while, so relaxing. Watching the sheep up on the hills reminds us again the need for the sheep dogs to make it work.
We visited Harrington's, the all purpose corner grocery, coffee shop, diner, that we had visited 12 years ago - met the same lady that was so helpful to us then.
The kids made it in about 8pm so we met them in town and had dinner. Sure love it that young kids and dogs are welcome in the pubs. So different than Utah.
Here's some afternoon shots for your viewing pleasure!

Here's a reminder why you have to have a sheep dog - to catch this one.

Beauty over the land

Love the trees overlaying the roads

Stone fences across the valley make for an intriguing pattern.

The rabbits come out as the sun gets low - they hide-live in the hedges between the fields. Looks like a stuffed toy rabbit!
