Yesterday afternoon Diana and I visited a local potter that we had visited 12 years ago. Our friend who was with us then, Rick, now in Hawaii, sleuthed her out for us (our memory is blah....). So down the narrow single track road we went hoping and praying no one was coming the other way.
We found the potter's place, same place as last time, and it was open with an Honor box to pay for things. Apparently she is in France on holiday.
We now have one more Irish pottery piece for the house, she does beautiful work.
Then on down the narrow road - twisting and turning so often it seemed like we had traveled 10 miles - but when we reached the main road we were only one klick from Ardgroom! Wonderful wild scenery.
Looking west down the Kenmare river to the ocean...
Visiting the potter's place..
