Curiousity

 Redtails - and most raptors - are curious creatures. They'll see you from far away and circle around to finally get to you.  Often.  I've even hidden behind bushes and that seemed to entice them to hurry up!!

Backyard birds

 Had a couple of old friends join us in the backyard yesterday..a Yellow-rumped Warbler and a Spotted Towhee. The warbler is passing through, stops to remind us spring is on the way. The Towhee is a resident, I think it lives just over the fence in our neighbors place. Beautiful beings...

Kayenta morning walk..

 Thursday dawned quite nice, despite some forecasts to the contrary. A gently desert sunrise, a walk around Fire Lake nearby our unit, and a bit of packing before we left for the north.

Rabbit and quail around our Inn, although no photos of them. Green-winged Teal in the lake. Peaceful..

Diana and I are in Kayenta for a couple of days enjoying the blue skies and the sunshine. Also no dog or cat!!

 So much to see in the beauty down here. So I just take a little bit at a time. Enjoy!
