The snowy egrets are very territorial and opportunistic. Here's one with the volunteer that commandeered this area and checked everyone out especially fishermen who may have some bait that it could steal!

The ibis stirs up the bottom and the egret follows closely and gets food. Nice.

The yellow crowned night heron is a beauty and not all that afraid of people.
