A relaxing Beach day

We enjoyed a very relaxing day at the beach right outside the condo. That was after a couple of recovery naps from the trip and just relaxing. Sunday is for Ding Darling.
The beach was busy - first and last with a lot of birds and in between with at least two weddings! One wedding the girls sat close to and toasted the bride and groom as they said their vows!
Ibis and Snowy Egrets were the main attraction along with the normal beach birds and a few pelicans. The egrets seemed fearless, walking very close to humans and not being frightened away by activity. One even kept a sand statue worker company, busily inspecting the various buckets that were being used.
Here's a few shots from the day..

That is his catch that he tosses in the air to move it toward his gullet!

The guy ran at me and spread his wings unexpectedly apparently to get away from a wave.

Hurry and get your food before the water catches up to you.

love the race!

The inspector!

Here's the wedding - just outside the condo window really.

Here's the kibitzing observers enjoying the view and Pinot Grigio!
