It was a dark and gloomy day!

We are under a winter storm watch - have been since Friday evening. To date not much has occurred at our place, mostly a bit of rain and light snow but at 32 degrees, nothing was sticking. We'll see what the evening brings.
Murphy and I headed over to the road to Dugway this morning to see what we would see; and the answer is not much! Light snow and low clouds reduced the visibility and mostly we just had fun walking through the snow.
The softness of the snow is enticing so I've tried to capture a bit of it; plus the ice features. The Rough legged hawk was a real plus - exquisite in his/her flight.

Ice, snow and sunlight make for an intriguing landscape

He is sooooo patient! Are we ready yet, Dad??!!

Fence lines and grasses add texture to the snowy day.

Snow covered grasses against water.

Helloo Bessie! Not real trusting of me, she kept a close watch.

Rough legged Hawk - I am always in awe of their beauty.

Horseshoe Springs has wonderful water flows with algae and sand mixed in.

Horseshoe Springs with light snow.
