Murph and I took a short trip out to Horseshoe Springs yesterday just to get out and see what is happening. Along the way a number of red-tailed hawks and a prairie falcon said hello - or goodbye really!
Mosquitos are out at the springs and there are still Avocets and Stilts nesting there. Dragonflies are feeding on the bugs YAY!
Enjoy!
This one sat for just enough time to get a shot - the reddish-orange ones were just to active for me.
Raven leaving old nest that the family used to raise kids this year.
Kingbird looking for prey.
A young fierce beauty!
Red-tailed Hawk landing on pole - beautiful birds.
