GREAT Blue Heron day..

A midday tour of the refuge started out slow but ended with a bang! A couple of Harriers, a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron, and then...watching a GBH stalk and catch a vole! Fascinating to watch, see how it got rid of the grass and dirt and then just swallowed the vole.
