Antelope Island

Randy and I visited Antelope this morning, having heard stories of lots of coyotes moving around. Also I wanted to see if there was any uniqueness noted in the before the storm behavior of the animals.
Coyotes did show up, as well as Bison and Mule deer.  No antelope! Saw a couple of porcupines in the Russian Olives, a few harriers and lots of meadowlarks. They must be confused because the males are singing already!
Here's my take on the day...

Rough-legged Hawk sitting on the way across the causeway..

Our first mulies were close to the visitor center, a place I hadn't seen them before.

Bison...beautiful golden front..

A porcupine Blob!!

A couple of beautiful coyotes - very hard to see if not moving..

The big mulies were in the sage and rocks - just wandering around..

The Great Horned Owl at the ranch - seems like he hasn't moved since the last time we saw him!
