Osprey are as ubiquitous here as white-tailed deer are in Northern Minnesota. Screaming loudly or whistling to one another, they show up in amazing places sometimes. I just watched one sit into the ocean - not fishing or diving but just plop down for a moment and then fly away.
Here's some from this morning in the refuge...
She was eating lunch on the counter, then left...
to get a drink and wash her claws.
Then off to wherever!
