Beauty and the beasts! or Raptors and herons if you will!

Fortunately I got to the refuge this morning before the rain began and the clouds covered the sun. It was a very active day, with goofy young Great Blue Heron's landing in the middle of the road right in front of me - then standing there while I drove slowly by!
We found a Barn Owl sleeping in the brush, harriers everywhere, Grebes catching fish and then being chased by other Grebes, and the incredible beautiful Rough-legged Hawks, Red-tailed hawks and Kestrels.  Of course poetry in motion is exemplified by the Black-crowned Night Herons as they flit around.

Here's a few!
