Hi Mom!

I was searching for a photo and came across the ones I had taken while in Port Orford, OR where I spent a couple of days with Mom after Dad died. Mom was out there staying with my sister Nanci as Nance had the only really compatible house for Mom - no stairs to climb - plus she was retired and had more time than the rest of us kids to spend with Mom. No one knew that this would turn into a 24X7 job!

Mom loved sticking out her tongue, and she did more of that as she got older. Kind of an irrepressible spirit showing through in some little manner. Here she is doing just that on the pier at Port Orford where we had dinner with Nanci and Ray!
