Vacation

We're on vacation this week, spending time with our friends from North Carolina up at Solitude ski resort located up one of the canyons out of the Salt Lake valley. Wonderful blue sky, cool breezes, the smell of woodsmoke in the air at night, cliff swallows serenading us during the day - really a paradise. We've watched a mother moose and her little one run across the open area of the hill outside as well as a couple of mule deer at various times.
We took a hike today around a beautiful mountain lake and, while it is a bit difficult to capture all the feelings and emotions, here's a try!
