Refuge Wednesday

A midweek trip to the refuge was quite eventful.  The egrets, both Snowy and Great, are visiting in numbers. And they are not too shy, making for some fun watching.  Ruddy ducks with their unbelievable blue bill, are hanging around, bossy as ever. GBH's, Grebes, Terns, baby Coots, a duck egg in a nest, yellow-headed blackbirds...just a few of the welcoming crowd. Absolutely no raptors seen...no Harriers, no Kestrels, no Red-tailed guys or gals...
Here's a few of the shots from today..
