Garden lights

We sat and enjoyed the garden this afternoon in the fading light; and the iris delighted us! You know, by sitting and watching you learn things/see things that you otherwise miss.  I keep forgetting that. What I saw was that these iris exude a honey/sap around the top of the stem from which the flower blossoms.  That is where the bee is vacuuming up the good stuff, rather than from inside the flower.

Knitting needles and cats came to hang out with us also.  These days are precious as you never know how many more you have left.
