Uinta Saturday

I spent some wonderful time in the Uintas with my daughter who took me for a belated Father's Day picnic to one of our favorite spots. We started off with Sandhill Cranes in a meadow in Francis and then lots of deer in the mountains. Wildflowers are awesome.
Enjoy!

A curious raptor, this Red-tailed Hawk just kept circling us.

Caught in the act!

Lisa spotted this buck and doe - the doe showed herself after the buck crossed the stream. You can see her back behind the buck.

Aging Brody took a few walks with me..

Looking up the canyon towards the rain clouds.

A Spotted Sandpiper caught my eye as it bobbed around the stream.

This cutie popped up in our face -

High Uintas to the west of us..
