Frida's Ride!

We had lunch today at Frida's Bistro on 700 South. Diana has been telling me to go there for some time and today worked out great.  The food was very good and wait staff was helpful and friendly.

But the real story tonight is of Frida's Ride - an old truck that is sitting outside the Bistro in all it's ancient glory and memories!  A white nylon band holds the two front fenders on and if you want to go anywhere with it you will need to bring a motor - but darn it is cute!

Coincidentally as we were eating, our NC friend called and was buying a pickup truck at the auction in Raleigh.  I told him I thought he could get a good deal on this one but it would require a bit of work.
