Refuge Saturday

 My first visit to the refuge in too many months..fortunately not many folks around and quite a few subjects. Here's the ones I liked the most..

Black-necked stilt scratching the top of its head..glad I have arms..

Sandhill cranes along with a Red-winged Blackbird..just coincidence they are in the same place.

Zoo Fox

 There are 4 red fox at the zoo, always a pleasure to see but not to smell! There's thick fencing in front of the area that makes it challenging to get a clear photo of the fox, but I somehow found the correct angle and got these three shots..

Visiting the Zoo

Visited the zoo yesterday, first time in a year or so..young (and old) artists doing chalk art of animals on the concrete made the normal walk much more interesting. Quite a bit of talent there.

We looked for the new big polar bear but he was not to be seen. Maybe next time. Here's a few of what I liked..
