The Eagles are back!

After several years of no-show, there were about 15 eagles - young and older - out on the ice today, playing around as eagles are wont to do. So nice to see them again here at the WMA. I hope they stick around for the fish fry in February.
A very hazy day today - but a few decent shots. The Kestrels and the Harriers are here in force - everywhere you turn there is a Harrier and the Kestrels are back in their normal spots. The Blue Herons are goofy and look like grumpy old men!!
Enjoy!

I've not seen this before - up to his butt in the water!
