Our neighbor's horses have been using the land just across the street from us and last night the light was very nice on one of them. Then today Murph and I visited Horseshoe Springs - black-necked stilts are still there but all the other shorebirds have left it appears. The horse flies bit wickedly so we did not stay long but did get a couple of nice shots of dragonflies.
The canal is dry - haven't seen it this way before but not sure if this is normal or a result of the drought.
Then we went prospecting for rocks - found some nice ones and also found three antelope catching shade under a dead tree. The raven posed on the way home - you can't stop and take their photo so this was taken while rolling about 15 mph! Fortunately no traffic at the time!
