Diana and I were down in Price this weekend since she was the supply priest for Ascension St. Matthews Episcopal Lutheran Church service on Sunday. The church building is a very interesting building and seems to fit well into the desert environment. I sat in church and watched the sun create shadows of various fixtures - cross, lights, etc. - on the walls.
Here's a couple of shots of the church building.

Hey Gerry, this is Lisa Farr (Sharon's co-worker). You were in my neck of the woods!! I lived in Emery County for 26 years, from 1978-2004 where we raised our family in the small town of Ferron, south of Buckhorn Draw and The Wedge overlook. That desert holds tender feelings in my soul, as does the whole San Rafael Swell region. I am SO glad you were able to go experience that part of Utah and share your wonderful photography with us. I thank God for your gift and desire to share with others. My husband and I visited Antelope Canyon in Page, AZ over Thanksgiving weekend and filmed my husband playing a native American flute within the slot canyons. I thought of you and your expert eye through your lens and wished you were there with us! We truly live in an amazing world, wouldn't you agree?
Awesome pictures man, cool church building I love how the sun illuminates that big cross. much love hope to see you soon
