Hawks, big and little and all colors.

Friends alerted me to the all white red-tailed hawk yesterday and I found it today. then on to Skull Valley and other hawks along the way. BTW, the desert is beautiful right now with mallow everywhere!

Spring in the west

Wonderful spring weather with rain and thunder and sun and rainbows and clouds - all in a fairly short time.  Here's one beauty that I liked..right off the front porch!

Today was windy and rainy and wild weather! This evening is quiet as if nothing had ever gone on. But the wildlife doesn't care.

Atherton Gardens Iris

Returning friends

The hummingbirds showed up two days ago as did the Bullock's Oriole.  Took a little time to get some useable photos.  So nice to see and hear them again!

We were on the way to catch some dinner in town and this guy was prancing along in the field just about half a mile from the house. Had to back up to get his photo!
