Big Sky Day

I volunteer with the local Nature Conservancy chapter, and one of the things I do is to work as a preserve monitor at the Great Salt Lake Shoreline Preserve, a 4,000+ acre preserve along the shore of the Great Salt Lake.  It's a beautiful and peaceful place: one where the beauty is not always immediately obvious. This past Monday afternoon I spent a couple of hours there, and took these photos.  The sky was very big that day, and full of beauty and changing light and shadows.  Take a minute and sit with the photos:  Click on them to see a larger view.
