When I walk outside I always look up - a habit I've acquired. Moments of beauty can be very transitory and easy to miss. Falling stars are one example - often caught out of the corner of your eye!
Here's morning and evening skies and clouds worth looking up for.
So much beauty and so little time to capture these moments! Remember that you can see a larger view by clicking on the photo.

Lilacs in August?
One of our new lilac bushes seems so excited to have survived she has provided blossoms as proof of her excitement and boy do they smell great! Elsewhere on the land, the artichoke is blossoming quite interestingly and squash bugs continue to provide me exercise every morning - squashing them!!

Full Moon
Full moons are fascinating - waiting for it to come up; seeing the various clouds and airplanes, etc., around it makes for some drama - and then watching it go down. Here's a few of the moonrise over the Oquirrh's..

Along the way - beauty.
The walk to Lower Calf Creek Falls is full of beauty, best noticed on your way to the falls since the way back is often consumed with thoughts of cold drinks! Here's a few shots along the way...

On the road again.
We had a wonderful breakfast at Hell's Backbone Grill, then checked out and drove over to the Grill's garden to see where they grew all the wonderful vegetables they served.
Then on the road again - stopped to photograph this Golden Eagle as he flew from a deer that he was feeding on. A bit further down the road we had to stop again, this time to watch a couple of Sandhill Cranes feeding. A great way to end a great trip.
